Start fresh on your land
Knockdown Rebuild in South Australia
You love where you are. The block is right. The house just isn't. We manage demolition, design, approvals, and build. One call, one team.
Servicing Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, the Fleurieu Peninsula and surrounding areas. Talk to us about your location and scope.

You love your location: the land, the community, the neighbours you know. But the house isn't working anymore. It's too small, the wrong layout, or just too tired to renovate. A knockdown and rebuild gives you a brand new home on the land you already own.
Summerley Homes manages the entire process: asbestos testing, demolition, site clearing, new design, council approvals, and build. You're not juggling a demolition company, a designer, a builder, and a council planner. You're making one phone call.
We've done this enough times to know where the surprises tend to hide: unexpected services, contaminated fill, neighbour issues during demolition. We plan for them before they cost you.
What's included
How it works
The process, step by step
Site assessment
We inspect the existing structure for asbestos, assess site conditions, identify service locations, and confirm council setbacks for the new build. No surprises later.
Demolition planning
We organise all demolition permits, asbestos removal if required, and utility disconnections. You don't need to coordinate with the council or utility providers. We handle all of it.
New home design
With the site clear and constraints understood, we design your new home. You'll see floor plans and 3D renders before anything is committed to.
Approvals
New development approval lodged and managed. We liaise directly with council and handle any requests for further information.
Demolish, clear and build
Demolition happens, the site is cleared, and construction begins. Regular walk-throughs with us at every major milestone through to handover.
